(See Comic) Everyone who comes to this world comes as a recruit to the ego's army of guilt and separation. Most people fight in that army until the day they die on the battlefield. However, no one really dies. The illusion of death is just one of the ego's many tricks. The desperation of the one life to live and you're dead mentality is simply one of the ego's recruiting ploys. In the grand scheme of things, upon bodily death, the ego's soldiers are simply recycled back into the army as new bodies. If death were real, the ego would be real and oblivion would be the result. To those caught up in the ego's battles, it all seems very real and imperative, otherwise no one would be fighting. However, some people do get fed up with being soldiers and go AWOL. By making efforts to leave the battlefield, AWOL soldiers start to see through the deception. They see that the war is really a self war where no one wins but the ego. While there are many seemingly different armies, all the armies are run by the ego. The soldiers are like unwitting hosts to a brutal parasite (belief). criminal defense attorney The ego is the parasite, and its illusory existence is sustained through the perpetual insane conflict facilitated by warring soldiers. post traumatic stress disorder symptoms Participating in the ego's war can be as simple as having a fight of words with someone or as elaborate as widespread nuclear annihilation. Where there are no soldiers, there is no war. And remember, there is no such thing as fighting for peace. Ultimately, freedom from the tyranny of the ego means being able to live in the world without being of it. Which means being able to walk through the ego's battlefield with invulnerability. The more you recognize the illusory insanity of the ego's war, the less willing you will be to participate in it. And the less you participate in it, the less influence it will have on you. Even inside the most seemingly heartless soldiers, you'll start to see the inherent innocence behind their deep confusion born of belief in illusion. criminal defense attorney, defense lawyer depression treatment Once your ego is totally gone, you'll know it, because the ego's world of illusions will disappear. But in the meantime, by deserting the ego's army evermore, primarily through the practice of uncompromising forgiveness, you'll start to remember just how good things can be. That means you'll be able to naturally relax more, lighten up, and have more fun. By undoing the ego you give up a lot of nothing you called something in exchange for everything. It's a really good deal. The invulnerability shield of egolessness Bullets of guilt and separation
